Words can’t quite capture how special this trip was. We had high expectations, and True Morocco Travel exceeded them at every single turn. The accommodations were just stunning—each riad was a hidden gem full of character, beauty, and incredible hospitality. But the absolute highlight for us was the Sahara. We chose this longer tour to have two nights in the desert, and it was the best decision we made. The first night is pure magic and awe, but the second night allows you to truly relax and sink into the peace of the place. Waking up to that sunrise on the second morning, feeling so completely serene, is a memory I will hold onto forever.
Our driver, Ali, was so much more than a driver. He was kind, professional, and so clearly passionate about sharing his culture with us. He made sure we were comfortable, happy, and had everything we needed, every single day. From the camel trek to the private tour of Fes to the final, beautiful morning in Chefchaouen, every single detail was seamless. This wasn’t just a vacation; it felt like a beautifully curated, personal adventure. Thank you for everything!
We were looking for a trip that would show us everything without feeling like a mad dash, and this 10-day itinerary from True Morocco Travel was absolute perfection. The pacing was brilliant. Starting with the relaxed, artistic vibe of Essaouira was the perfect way to ease into the country before diving into the exciting energy of Marrakech. Every day brought something new and completely different. We went from the breezy Atlantic coast, to the bustling city souks, over the epic Atlas Mountains, and into the profound silence of the Sahara.
Our guide, Youssef, was a master at making the longer travel days feel like part of the adventure, with fascinating stops and stories along the way. Seeing the landscape change so dramatically from desert sands to the green cedar forests near Fes was just incredible. It felt like we experienced three or four different countries all in one trip. If you want a comprehensive, thoughtfully planned, and flawlessly executed journey that truly captures the diversity of Morocco, this is it. We came home feeling like we hadn’t just seen the country, but truly experienced it.
I was a bit nervous about traveling to Morocco on my own, but booking this private tour with True Morocco Travel was the best decision I could have made. From the moment I was picked up at the airport, I felt completely safe and looked after. My driver, Mohammed, was an absolute gentleman—respectful, incredibly knowledgeable, and always making sure I was comfortable. Having him as my guide meant I could relax and just absorb the experience without any of the stress of navigating on my own.
The itinerary was a perfect mix of guided activities and free time. I loved having the structure of the daily journey but also the freedom to wander the blue streets of Chefchaouen or the coastal ramparts of Essaouira on my own in the afternoons. The tour provided the perfect balance of independence and security. The variety was amazing, and I never felt lonely. It was a wonderful way to see so much of the country in a safe and enriching way. I would recommend this tour to any solo traveler without a moment’s hesitation. It was an adventure of a lifetime
As a history enthusiast, I was drawn to this itinerary for its blend of historical sites and natural wonders, and it did not disappoint. The guided tours in Marrakech and Fes were exceptional. The local guides were not just knowledgeable, they were passionate storytellers who brought the ancient medinas to life. Walking through the Roman ruins of Volubilis and then exploring the imperial grandeur of Meknes on the same day was a powerful experience that truly connected the dots of Morocco’s long and complex history.
What made this tour so special, however, was how the history was set against such breathtaking landscapes. Exploring Ait Ben Haddou felt all the more epic with the High Atlas Mountains as its backdrop. The journey was a constant visual feast. Our guide was fantastic at providing context for everything we saw, from the geology of the Todra Gorges to the traditions of the Berber people. It was an intelligent, beautiful, and deeply rewarding trip that satisfied both my love for history and my appreciation for incredible scenery. Highly, highly recommend.
